Collaboration with Fur Folks Home

Old wisdom. New treats.

The Better Series grew out of a simple belief: that what we feed our pets matters, and that the traditions our grandmothers knew are worth paying attention to. We're not reinventing TCM. We're just letting it inform how we choose proteins, how we combine ingredients, and how we think about balance.

Every treat here is handmade and freeze-dried in our kitchen, with ingredients you can read out loud, and still tested on the most honest judges we know — Asher included.

10% of every purchase from this series goes towards supporting Fur Folks Home in caring for pets in their final season.

What is TCM and what does it have to do with my pet?

Traditional Chinese Medicine has been thinking about food as medicine for thousands of years.

The idea is simple: different foods have different energetic properties — some are "warming," some are "cooling," and some are neutral.
When a body is out of balance, the right food can help bring it back.

It turns out this framework applies just as well to our pets as to us.

A dog who scratches constantly, runs hot, and is always panting? Probably benefits from cooling proteins like duck or fish.

A cat who's lethargic, feels cold to the touch, and has a dull coat? A little warming energy from chicken or venison might help.

It's not magic — it's centuries of paying close attention.

The Better Series is our attempt to bring that attention into every treat we make.
